1918 Letter from Ft. Sill Gunnery Student to His Just Enlisted Brother, Fabian Cox in Martinsburg, West Virginia.  On U.S. Army stationery. He advises him to try to get into Radio Operating or Automobile Work.  Also warns him to be careful who he associates with. "Of course, in the Army, you will be thrown into contact with fellows of a class you never would associate with otherwise."  Talks of observing artillery fire and almost running into a load of hay with his truck, the Major said "That's to be expected." EX condition letter in fair condition envelope. Normal mailing fold.
I use a poor/fair/good/very good/excellent/mint grading system and grade very conservatively (see my feedback). This does NOT necessarily correspond to the generic Ebay grading system that we are forced to use. Shipping is .95 in the U.S.
