Description from the Manufacturer:
"As the name implies, these bags are modeled after the classic saddlebags of Western lore. The simple, stable design eliminates the need for top-mounting hooks by utilizing a two-layer Cordura center flap that goes right over the top of your rack. Hook and loop attachment points at the front and rear and a simplified webbing and Tensionlock buckle complete the suspension system on this set of panniers. They feature our standard solid construction: HDPE frame sheets, double bottoms, heavy-duty zippers with full storm flaps on both compartments, and 3M Scotchlite Reflective Material for after-dark safety. A handle at the top makes it easy to carry the Saddlebags off the bike, and two built-in accessory straps will accommodate extra gear on demand. For added strength, newer models have brass grommets to replace plastic web loops."
