    Description

Original, vintage USA WWI 4-page letter with envelope from the American representative of Delco Light Co. in Paris, May 1, 1918. Richard Bouton writes about finding a home for family dog, business, the opera and a dinner party. He also says, “The Americans are acquitting themselves well before Amiens – there particularly for it was they & the Scotch who saved the ally [France] from falling. Then casualties have been heavy, in one case of 235, only 11 returning. Our namesake Bouton…is now a captain & is about to get a V.C. for conspicuous gallantry.” I combine shipping, so the buyer pays the low shipping charge only once for items mailed together.
