Description
WWI Western Union Telegram night letter sent by Lt. Arthur Cyrus Frederick Brown while stationed at Fort Worth, medical Corps. Arthur was a doctor in civilian life and and served in 65th Regiment medical corps of N.Y volunteers during the Spanish civil war. The telegram is sent to his sister in law, ( his wife sister Verna) Mrs Tom Henderson. Tom was overseas at this time service with the Motor Supply Train.Letter is dated Oct 24 1918 talks about the news that Verna had been unwell and asks her to get in touch.
Letter comes with transcription and copies of documents relating to Arthur found during research - copies of newspaper clippings, internment record for Arthur etc.
